PhD Applicants 

We are looking for 1–2 highly motivated Ph.D. students to join our group starting Fall 2026. In general, we expect applicants to have strong mathematical backgrounds and programming skills; and are excited about research at the intersection of machine learning, control, energy and physical applications. Please apply through the UCSD ECE PhD program (Intelligent Systems Robotics and Control (EC80) and Machine Learning and Data Science (EC93) tracks) (Application Deadline: 2025/12/17).
